I know everyone is saying Jensen but this blind points to George Eads. Shine a light and investigator points to him. But I will say both engagements are fishy.
I think it’s the timing of this blind that is making (most of) us think it might be Jensen. George’s engagement was announced @ the beginning of the month, Jensen’s just yesterday. But I agree with you that both are suspect.

Oh yeah! He was having a thing with one of the other guys on CSI until he got written off.
An industry insider told me that the season ender plot line from a few years back, where Eads was buried in a box, was an ultimatum. He had become less and less discreet about his sexuality and that was CBS’s way of telling him if he wanted to come out, he could leave the show. Obviously, he got back in the closet and kept his job.
I reckon it’s Eads. I don’t see anything fishy about the Ackles engagement – those two have been dating for three years and have known each other for like ten years. Nothing ’sudden’ there.

Hmmm… Shine a light? Investigator? George Eads all the way, not least because there’s been time for people to react to his engagement.
That’s what I thought, the clues point more to CSI than SPN. It’s CSI who investigate, whereas the word most associated with SPN would be ‘hunting’.

That was announced back @ the end of Aug. Not saying you can’t be right because to be honest I’m horrible @ guessing these things, BUT I still can’t shake the thought that the TIMING of this BG post is EVERYTHING!
First thought was George Eads because of the light and investigator thing.

A sudden engagement means girlfriend out of the blue where there wasn’t one before. Eads’ girl has been around for 5 or 6 years. And all those CSI rumors come from some Eric Szmanda fans who keep telling everyone they have to read between the lines. It’s wishful thinking and hardly proof.
“Jensen and Danneel?” What happened to Joanna Krupa? Honestly, I sincerely doubt it’s him.

I don’t think it’s George Eads. His engaged doesn’t seem sudden. Life.com said Monica was his fiance over a month ago. And if he proposed because of his back surgery, that was 6 months.
well, if it is not Eads (not so sudden as you say), then it’s so Ackles. Just a month ago his “gf”(=beard) denied on her Twitter that she is engaged, and now… BANG!!!!
My guess is it’s about George Eads. Could be Jensen, but I think the news of his engagement broke too late for Billy’s column.
