TV Star Puts His Gavel Where It Doesn't Belong

gavelBuzzFoto – We ran into this writer for a very popular network tv drama that has been around for some time. She gave us some gossip on the set of her show, which is kind of interesting. One of the big male stars on the show has slept with about every woman on set, even though he is married. He uses the same old story that his lovely wife at home is terrible and mean and never pays attention to him. Which show is it, and can you guess the star? It’s a legal drama. Not CSI.

Would William Shatner be too obvious? Probably…

    • I'veseenitall

William Shatner? Didn’t you know? He’s gay.

Goes back to the time when he was on Star Trek. He used to be totally, virulently straight, and when he met Leonard Nimoy at the casting sessions, still straight—however: When Nimoy put on the pointy ears, Shatner discovered his inner gayness.

Now, he can only do it with skinny, mop-topped men who wear pointy ears; he gets his regular make-up artists to affix the rubber ears on his prospects just before they get down to it.

This is a true story—hell, it’s an open secret around Hollywood: Shatner is gay, but only with guys with the pointy ears. Ask around.

        GOD! How lame!

I think William Shatner. He has a real sense of self-entitlement, every wife and girlfriend is ‘this is it this is the real thing’ until a better looking one comes along. Like Tony Curtis, the man is a total old-man-slut.

        • lall

Tony Curtis claims Marilyn was impregnated by him. Course Marilyn can’t very well deny it.
BUT! Every oldtimer in Hollywood well remembers Tony Curtis saying this about Marilyn: KISSING MARILYN MONROE WAS LIKE KISSING HITLER!
It was highly publicized after “Some Like It Hot” was finished.

      • LooLoo

So not true. Not only is he not gay, he actually knew LN for years before they started Star Trek together. Sorry!

  • just sayin'

Someone from Law and Order (gavel). I would guess Christopher Meloni.

  • Gitano

Is NCIS considered a legal drama? What other “legal dramas” are there besides the William Shatner show that I didn’t even think was still on.

  • Grace

I hope its Christopher Meloni. Because that means I need to get on the next plane to NYC and get a job on that set.

    He’s my dream cop.

(I actually don’t wish its him for the sake of his wife.)

      Christopher Meloni is gay

      • AA

If Christopher Meloni is gay somebody better tell IMDB who has him married to a woman for many years now. Since 1995 I think. And somebody better tell his wife too.

        • stacy

And Tom Cruise has been married three times. What’s your point?

          • AA

Oh did I hit a nerve? Didn’t mean to.

          • FOR REEL

I think it’s funny that in all these posts there is always someone who puts out, “Didn’t you know? They’re gay!” If all that were true, then a disproportional amount of Hollywood is gay. I just find it ridiculous and kind of unbelievable that there is not one straight man in town.

          • LooLoo

I agree with For Reel. Half the people that are called “obviously gay” just aren’t. I’ve never thought Tom Cruise was at all. Even Andrew Morton, TRYING to dig up dirt on him, came to the conclusion that he is not now nor has he ever been gay.

        • A Fellow Mick

This is faulty reasoning. There are TONS of married gay people and, shocker, most of them don’t live in LA and work on legal dramas. People can serve as beards for years and not know it (just ask my dad). And … my parents were married a lot longer than 14 years.

      • jen

chris is at least bi because he slept with one of the guys from oz.

        • stacy

No nerve was hit, AA. I was just asking what was the point of your comment since almost every gay person in Hollywood is married to someone from the opposite sex. Just because someone is married doesn’t mean they can’t have same sex affairs.

Sorry to be replying to jen but there was no reply button on AA’s comment.

        • McCoy

          that was just acting. LOL

          • stacy

            I’m sorry, I don’t understand your comment. I didn’t say anything about anybody’s acting.

          • Anonymous

That wasn’t just acting. Jen is right. Meloni slept with one of the guys from Oz. Crew members from the set of Oz outed Meloni and Tergesen and said they were having an affair during the filming.

  • j

Christopher Meloni is rumoured to be gay.

  • Hope

CSI was the original, so maybe the original law & order (not svu). Sam Waterston is married, as is Anthony Anderson, and Linus Roache (of the current cast).

Could be anything though since there are so many legal dramas out there. Hope this blind item doesn’t cause any unnecessary friction :( But to whoever it is, quit being an ass!

    Boston Legal? Hmmm…

    • lautre femme

its not on anymore but if she was a writer on that show it would have been spadr – heard he screwed his way through the series run, leaving bruises and overly skinny actresses in his wake.

  • stan

What about the show Crminal Minds.

    • stinkweed

It would make me infinitely happy to hear that this was Matthew Gay Gubler… but is CM considered a legal show? Or crime drama?

      He’s my hot nerd boyfriend.

  • xxgatorxx

what about raising the bar?someone on that show?
    the good wife?
    law and order?

  • YOUR MOTHER

there’s an egg on the picture, so this has to be an actor with an egg shaped head. actually, it has to be an actor who plays a chicken. Mmmmmmm…

  • Rajah

    What about bones? David boreanez?

  • xxgatorxx

not an egg a ledge for the gavel to be pounded on
bones isnt a law procedural show
meaning in a courtroom so its out

  • xxgatorxx

actually neither is CSI so we need to know what type

  • Catiebug

All I know is that NCIS does not have any female writers credited this season, so that’s the only show we can eliminate. Otherwise, the field is wide open!

BTW, the pic is not a clue unless Blind Gossip wrote the item.

  • wubbzy

It’s Ice-T ppl! Coco is too much for him.

  • Isabella

His gavel makes me think it is a judge on the legal drama???

  • TheDecemberist

Oh man I hope its Jack McCoy!!!!!! If it is I’ll be on the next bus to NYC. What a hot piece!

    • MelloKitty

Sam Waterston popped into my head first too! He is VERY steamy for a man old enough to be my grandfather. Total GILF. I am so gross…lol. BTW, if it is him, I feel bad for his family.

  • missymissmiss

ok Chris Meloni is not gay, but rather gay icon…and I think its pretty awesome that he is cool with it as well!

from Wikipedia-From 1998-2003, Meloni portrayed bisexual serial killer Chris Keller on the HBO series Oz; the role won him a great deal of media attention, particularly within the gay community, in which he is considered a sex symbol.

honestly I am tired of all the gay rumors about just about everyone… who cares if they are gay or straight?

  • z

I have it from a very close source that chris meloni is a very, very nice guy and behaves himself. Sam Waterston is my guess. Every once in awhile something is written into the show about him sleeping with his assistant DA’s- always seemed weird and could be a request on his part to have a sexier image because he fancies himself this in life.

    • Müller-Lüdenscheid

Second that about Chris. I have a friend who also knows him for years now (from work) and describes him as utterly nice and decent. He has so often the kids and wife around for a visit on the set (as well as Mariksa), that I hardly think he would pull off such a stunt as hiting on the rest of the females when they are not around. So no Chris, even though the descriptions really leads to him.

As for another guess… how about Vincent D’Onofrio? He is (grew) a BIG male star on a legal drama that includes the Dongdong sound. Though he isn’t technically married. I quote IMDB: “Divorced wife Carin van der Donk in 2003. The couple reconciled in 2007 and had a son, Luca, in 2008. They have not remarried.” But maybe that’s the hint about how terrible his wife is/was in the past. And now he still uses the same trick even though he hasn’t remarried her.

  • Dreamyvelvet

John Larroquette on Boston Legal..who also played an attorney on Night Court.

  • Jacks

What about Mark Paul Gosselaar from TNT’s Raising the Bar? That’s much more of a legal drama than CSI type shows. Plus, he’s Zack Morris – he can sleep with whoever he wants lol!

    • Hope

Very true. It is much more focused on the legal aspects whereas a lot of the law&orders and csi’s are about the crime and whodunnits. I like this guess…but it says the show has been around for a while. Or maybe they mean the writer has?
