The actors on said show have long been frustrated by the lack of communication coming from the front office. Maybe. Pasdar’s character is officially dead already, with Sylar taking his place. And the last ep I saw definitely set up the possibility of no more Nathan.

What about Lost?? Maybe they’re killing off Jack or Sawyer. I’ve never heard anything bad about the producers or anyone behind the scenes, but why would I…I’m a mom in the suburbs on the east coast.
Lost is filming it’s last season, mostly everyone will be looking for another job so it wouldn’t be a big surprise they’d be killing people off.
The blind suggests (to me) that the show will continue past the current season (if it gets renewed, unlike Lost which ends in May 2010)

Christopher Meloni on Law and Order SVU. Supposedly he and his female costar are always threatening to quit unless they’re paid more. Plus he’s already been shot, blown up, and fallen off a roof, so that it will actually be a surprise when he dies.

Never. TPTB in form of Neal Bear and the cast have a very good communication and cast and crew always praise him as show runner. Don’t think they would if it’s plain crap behind the scenes.

The general consensus on other sites I’ve read (including EW where the original BI came from) is that it is one of two characters on Heroes. However, I don’t watch that show so I have no idea who they are or if it is true.
Victor Newman!! CNN had an article about how he “quit” after refusing to take a mandatory pay cut before his current contract even expires. I mean, he did quit, but the execs really gave him no choice. It’s called “attrition”.

Anyway, I think Its going to be Hiro. He is arguably the most famous character on the show. Claire can’t really die, and if they killed Peter the show would REALLY be over. Either that, or its going to be Mohinder.. He hasn’t even been on the show yet this season.

Nah, Dick Wolf and his showrunners are pretty good at communicating with their various teams. Also, contracts, like Sam’s, are done on a yearly basis (at least) – they wouldn’t kick someone off mid-season (and if they’re filming this upcoming week, it won’t have been for the end of the season yet, I’m guessing).
It won’t be Waterston or Meloni, the latter having just signed a two year contract. Even NBC is not THAT crazy that they would kill off Jack McCoy. He’s the glue holding the mothership together.
I really don’t think they would kill off Zachary Quinto’s character on Heroes… The entire show would go down the drain (more than it already has, that is) and they know that.
If it is an unexpected turn of events with high impact, my money is on Sylar. Would also ‘clean up’ a lot of the abilities gathered by one character over previous seasons. The series was most exciting when there wasn’t a hero with unequalled abilty around. He can match just about anyone now Maybe they want to go back to that scenario and re-build.
Actually, i realized if Hiro is able to go back in time to save people, those would be abilities Sylar would lose. That would be so cool to see him slightly neutered.

I think this is about lawrence fishburne, in csi. I dont watch CSI anymore (sorry laurence, you cannot, i repeat, CANNOT be my gil grissom replacement.) CSI is on the same time greys is..on the same day. And im sure laurence is pretty well respected. But he just doesnt work…and CSI hasnt always been forthcoming i think, with thier future. I dunno, I speculate CSI and mr. fishburne!

The clue is in the phrasing of the hint: “Here’s the first of two hints: It’s not — I repeat not — Grey’s Anatomy.” Ted is giving TWO hints, right? And he says, “I repeat not.” He DOESN’T say, “I repeat, NOT –” This suggests he means exactly the opposite of what he is inferring. The second hint is a denial of th first. In other words, it IS Grey’s Anatomy.
I just don’t know who since I haven’t followed it closely in two years. But given all the drama involving T.R. Knight and Kathleen Heigl, it would fit the “lack of communication coming from the front office.”

From Niki Finke: Adrian Pasdar’s forced exit {from Heroes} is surprising unless flying is no longer considered a cool enough capability. More likely is that the show keeps suffering lousy ratings because it never recovered from being interrupted during the writers strike.
