CDAN – At least two of the celebrities on the red carpet at yesterday’s Emmy Awards paid for their date. You would think that just being invited to the Awards would be payment enough, but nope, it turns out that both of these companions wanted more than just tickets.
Contrary to what you might be thinking, there was one male and one female who did the hiring yesterday.
This C list actress from one of those initial shows is actually quite attractive. Very attractive and if she needs a date somewhere in the future she should give me a call instead of having to pay for one of the crew from the show to go with her. Oh, he wasn’t technically a pro, but she paid him $1000 and bought him a suit. I don’t know if dinner or drinks were included.
One person who was most definitely a pro was the woman that this A list television actor brought to the awards. You know I say he is A list, but he won’t be for long. I would tell you why he won’t be A list for long but then it would give away his identity. My favorite role of his was actually a fairly small role on a different television series.

BG’s favorite role for him was on a different series–He played Ellen Degeneres’s cousin on her comedy show “Ellen”.
He wasn’t quite the * on that show….
I’ll buy this one. He was my first thought as well and i immediately thought of his role on Ellen.
Yes, I think the male figure is Jeremy Perven. He seems the type who would rather hire a HO than takes his mom (unless his mom was his Ho).
He was also quite good on Cupid – a cute show that didn’t last long.

I like this guess, but Kate Walsh is on Private Practice, which doesn’t qualify as an “initial” show – like ER, CSI, SVU, etc. I think Eva LaRue is a great guess, but have no idea about the guy. I can’t tell if the clue means his 15 mins of fame are about up, or he’s on a show and is about to be written out of it…

What about Tracy Morgan – the interview I saw said it wasn’t his wife. She didn’t look like the typical hollywood date.
Is Entourage on it’s last season or something? If so, maybe that’s what it means. Piven won’t be A-list once the show is over. (And he shouldn’t be now, if it weren’t for the Academy giving him all those darn Emmys).
Actually, after reading the message above, something rang a bell in my head. I remembered seeing a red carpet interview with Tracy Morgan with a woman at his side. When the interviewer asked who she was he introduced her as “Taniesha Hall” with no other explanation. He didn’t call her his “girlfriend” or his “wife” or anything. I mean, she might be a girlfriend I guess, but I remember that I thought it was odd at the time. She is tall and pretty good looking. It wouldn’t be impossible. I could see him paying for a date.

Alec Baldwin was seated next too a woman that obviously looked like a prostitute. But it could have also been Tracy Jordan’s date (she sat between them).
I saw Seth MacFarlane @ the FOX Emmy party with whom I think was Joe Francis’ old girlfriend – blonde – young – permanent look of confusion….wonder if he paid…do u know BG?
