It can’t be DiCaprio/Scorsese because the BI says that the movie is still filming. It also can’t be Crowe and Scott for the same reason. The only blockbuster that’s filming right now starring an A list actor and an A list director is Inception.
I’ll go with Crowe/Scott. When I think of Crowe, that’s exactly how I see him: a spoiled overrated hack.

i was for Russel Crowe/Ridley Scott because of rumours on Robin Hood set but the filming set is finished so i like your idea DiCaprio/Nolan!
Who is Nolan? I mean, I had to look him up and he is hardly prolific, is he? It does say equally A-list director, therefore I would expect the same level of name recognition. And Russel Crowe *is* world famous. As is (to me at least) Christian Bale, but I agree, probably more women would know his body than his name…
Chris Nolan is “Dark knight” or “Batman begins” or “the prestige” director
most top directors are not household names, so just because you don’t know who nolan is does not mean he is not a-list. he made the second highest grossing movie in history, so he is a-list. you don’t know him, but you know every one of his movies.
that being said what about mark wahlberg and peter jackson? are they still filming the lovely bones? didn’t marky mark not get along with scorsese in the movie i forgot the name of that scorsese won best director for?

If this is LD on the set of Inception, that may screw LD big time. There are several seriously gifted actors/actresses on that film, in particular Joseph Gordon Levitt. I suspect a goof director could make JGL SHINE in comparison to LD.

I doubt it’s Shia and Stone because they have only been shooting Wall Street sequel for a mere 3 DAYS. They have 2 to 3 months left to shoot. Not a few weeks. The Wall Street sequel isn’t a blockbuster by any stretch.
I think Oliver Stone is currently filming a big movie (the names escapes me now) some one help me out or i’ll have to google it

How about Brad Pitt and Quentin Tarantino? Quentin has been talking about Brad’s drug use on talk shows. Maybe, they had a falling out.
I very seriously doubt Tarantino thinks of drug use as a bad thing. He’s also worked with Brad Pitt several times, and the last film they made together is already in theaters.
The Spielberg one might make sense since he did “War of the Worlds.” Was Will Smith in anything with “world” in the title?

Am going with LaBeouf/Stone also mainly because blind seems to imply director is older than actor by calling him an over-rated punk and actor seems younger thinking director should listen to his ideas/input. LaBeouf is still young enough to be considered a punk. The others are a little old for it. Not sure Wallstreet2 could be classified as an upcoming blockbuster, though.

Like I and others have said, filming on Robin Hood ended weeks ago – in early August. So give up on the RC and Ridley guesses, for God’s sake. In fact, Russell is now taking a break in Australia before he goes to Pittsburgh in October for the start of another film. Sorry, but every “bad guy” Blind isn’t about Russell!!!

… Rumors which Russell laid to rest some time ago. He and Ridley always fight when they make a movie and both have admitted this. Doesn’t mean there’s bad blood between them – that’s just the way they collaborate. This (rumor of Russ/Ridley problems) is about as true as that fake story that Russell was banned from some English pub for bad behavior. The pub owner actually said that Russell had never even been there and the news org that published the story had to print a retraction and an apology to Russell. I’ll bet Russ threatened to sue them and good for him.
