The drink is not girly, the bartenders are. Giggling? Real men don’t giggle. Real men say “get the hell outta here” (for a genuine reason) or say “yes sir,” pour the drink and mind their own business.
What is girly about that? Because it’s purple? Gimme a break.

Oh come on… that drink is only a good garnish and cocktail umbrella away from being Carmen Miranda, it’s so girly. Not to mention hideously sweet. He might as well be drinking an alcopop.

It might not be that bad…gonna dig in the liquor cabinet and see if I can make one.
It sounds like what’s called a Fruit Tingle in Australia – if you use Schweppes lemonade instead of 7-Up, it tastes exactly like the Wonka Fruit Tingle lollies.Oh and add Blue Curacao to give it the purple colour too (athough we just use something like raspberry cordial instead of a raspberry liquor).
