CDAN – This Golden Globe Nominated/Winner television actor who is a solid B lister from his body of work is known by the nickname Retch. It is based on one of his characters. The reason he is called this is because whenever he breathes on you you really think you are going to puke. It is not a natural condition. Our actor believes in a pill and vitamin regimen that is the cause. Despite complaints from everyone he keeps taking the pills and forcing everyone who does scenes with our actor to rub Vicks under their nose.

I’m looking down the list of golden globe winning tv actors in the past several years trying to narrow it down. Needs to be someone who is only considered B-list (which probably means mostly TV, maybe some supporting movie roles), someone who has never won an Emmy, an Oscar, or been nominated for an Oscar (that would have been mentioned) and someone who seems like they would be on a health kick.
Based on those premises I’m going to guess David Duchovny. He won two Golden Globes (for both X-Files and Californication), has been nominated for others, never won an Emmy, has done limited movie work, but probably would be permanent B-list because of X-Files fame. Plus, he’s grody and totally seems like the type who wouldn’t give a crap if his breath is bothering other people. He a douche.
Don’t know about the “retch” reference, though.
I have never gotten the douche vibe off of Duchovny. Too educated.

Yeah, but they post only the Kindness ones. They never post the really juicy ones. So you get some reveals, but never the ones that you really want. Pretty smart scam. Keeps you coming back in the hope that you just might find out something good. But you don’t.

I think the time that really made me hate CDAN was the whole Jude Law/Rachel McAdams sister thing. There was no other real possibilities to that blind. If it were true and just not about Jude/rachel than we would have heard by now of another set of co-stars that are having this issue and SHOCKER!! we haven’t. Almost every blind sounds suspect because they are obviously about a particular person and they never seem to pan out. That’s my beef with CDAN.
P.S. SunnyD – that is 100% untrue. Put your sleuthing skills to better use by trying to figure out the blinds rather than discredit the sources.

I think this has to be someone who does a lot of kissing in their scenes. You’d have to be really close to someone’s face to smell their breath, right? If one has to put Vick’s under there nose to keep from puking . . .? No guess yet

Also, the Vicks under the nose comment. My son is a homicide detective and I know that people actually do put that under their noses during an autopsy or at a crime scene or place that has been allowed to become disgustingly rotted, etc…

…. Don’t think it’s Keifer b/c (according to CDAN’s “rating system”) he’s A-LIST b/c he’s the star of a long-running, very popular TV series (“24″).
…. David Schwimmer has never been nominated for a GG, plus he hasn’t done any TV work for nearly 3 years.

Although I LIKE the David Duchovny guess, CHEVY CHASE fits this BI perfectly: 1) His extensive body of work qualifies him as B-list; 2) He’s been nominated for 2 GGs; 3) He’s a “television actor” b/c he recently appeared in 3 episodes of “Chuck” and he costars in the new NBC series “Community.” But most importantly, his nickname “RETCH” is obviously a takeoff on his character “FLETCH.” (Great call, Gosskins!)
