BlindGossip – We thought that this former singing star made a small fortune during his/her time on the charts in the 1990s. After all, every time you see him/her out on the town, s/he is behind the wheel of a different late model luxury car. It turns out that none of the cars actually belong to the singer. After having a couple of cars “reclaimed” by a heartless bank, s/he is now forced to use his/her local rental car agency. Guess s/he didn’t put away some money for a rainy day.
The word “they” is used to describe one person. That makes me think of someone who was in a group. A Backsreet Boy, an N-Syncer or someone in 98 Degrees. Justin Timberlake and Nick Lachey look like they have a few bucks left. Joey Fatone is selling his tricked house in Florida. Maybe it is him. No boy bands has had a hit for a while. We could name a hundred and all could be right. Who had a hit “Reclaimed”?
Or whoever wrote this is trying to avoid writing he/she and him/her, which can be quite irritating. It’s common in English.

Prince is still performing and just finished doing a whole bunch of Vegas dates for lots of money. Plus, he threatens to sue anyone who uses his image, even his fans, so I’m sure he’s got a tight rein on his cash.

It is definitely not anyone from Hootie & The Blowfish. Those guys were all business majors and very smart with their money. In fact they set their band up as a corporation when they were starting out just so they could get health insurance.
Could it be Aaron Carter. He had to sue Lou Perlman to get paid but settled out of court. Plus he seems like an idiot.

Could it be Nick Carter of BSB? They are still making records and touring, constantly since 2005. They have a new CD coming out in October-the first single is just hitting radio and the video is being made this week. He has been seen in several different cars-but mostly because he lives in Nashville, works in LA-so the LA cars might be rentals. It just not for the reason of not affording his cars, but because he changes localities every few months.
It isn’t Nick Carter. He’s financially stable and is always in his Range Rover, which he’s had for a couple of years.

The Backstreet Boys made quite a bit on the last tour and have another CD coming out soon. They may not have the money of the larger stars like Justin or Britney, but they aren’t hurting at all-so I don’t think it is ANY of the Backstreet Boys.
