BlindGossip – Two celebrities in this one. He is one of the stars of a cable series. She is an young actress who has done both movie and television work. He is married. She is single. They had an affair. He got tired of her and tried to terminate the relationship. However, she didn’t give up. In fact, she’s been pursuing him harder than ever. She calls and text messages and emails him constantly. The messages are ratcheting up both in number and intensity. She’s threatening him. If he doesn’t get back together with her she’ll go to the press, to his wife, or to the police. Why the police? She’s underage, that’s why. Hm, so the girl is underage with regards to sex (I’m guessing younger than 16 in the US?), has done tv and movies and is called a celebrity. Dakota Fanning, anyone?
Underage here I think means under 18.
Quick google reveals that the age of consent varies from 16 to 18 in the USA depending on the state, so that broadens the field a bit. But I still like Dakota Fanning for this.
What TV has dakota fanning done? She seems more mature than this.
According to imdb, episodes on ER, Ally McBeal, Strong Medicine, CSI, The Practice, Spin City, Malcom in the Middle and Friends, all at the beginning of her career though. Not to imply in any way she’s a train wreck (I think she’s an awesome actress), just thought I was looking for someone below the age of 16 (I know better now) and 15 seems a perfectly plausible age to have a crazy crush on someone.

Well usually these things take place in hollywood and in CA the age of consent is 18. Regardless, 18 is a good benchmark.

I was thinking “terminate” was a clue, so I thought of that cable show, the sarah connor chronicles, but not too familiar with the male leads.
I think by “cable” they mean HBO or Showtime. Piven isn’t married, but it does sound like an ensemble cast. I’ve no idea on either part of the BI. I can’t see Dakota Fanning going to the press about something like this, though. She seems a little too together, even at her young age.
Wouldn’t cable refer to USA or TNT, too? Cable, as opposed to network (CBS, ABC, NBC, Fox)?

For the cable show actor, what about someone from “Damages”? (Glenn Close stars, hence the Fatal Attraction reference). I’m not sure of everyone on that show and whether/not they are married…Ted Danson, Timothy Olyphant, William Hurt, Tate Donovan…?

She’s also been in the movie “Definitely Maybe” and some others, as well as quite a bit of TV in shows like “Hope & Faith”, “Third Watch” and “Rescue Me”.
This guess is dead on (Glenn Close/Damages).
I would have to add Peter Facinelli to the list of possibilities. His character was killed off Damages in the first season, & he’s been a likely suspect in previous, similar blinds.
But, would somebody please help me out here, I’m really confused now. There have been several blinds lately re this affair between an older, TV cast member and a barely legal, D-list ingenue. A recent one – highlighting a movie actor & D-list, no-name ingenue – dispelled the rumored affair as fiction, charging that the ingenue invented the whole thing to drum up P.R. for herself.
Facinelli works in both of these scenarios. So, is he the guilty or innocent one?

There are a blind reveal not long ago where they said that Eric Roberts has pretty tight reins on Emma because he knows what could happen in Hollywood so I don’t think it is her.

Out of left field here, but…Bill Paxton had small roles in two of the Terminator movies (“terminate” the relationship), is currently married, and is one of the stars of Big Love on HBO.
Also, he did “Spy Kids 2″ with Emily Osment, who is Lilly on Hannah Montana. I know the BI doesn’t say that they ever worked together, but it’s a link between them. Emily Osment is known, but not so big of a star as Miley or Dakota.

The bunny connection is a reference to the movie “Fatal Attraction”. The Glenn Close character had a brief affair with the Michael Douglas character. When he dumped her, she stalked him and his family. His little daughter had a pet bunny, and they came home one day to find the bunny boiling in a pot on the stove, courtesy of the Glenn Close character. Since this movie, any reference to a bunny boiling is a metaphor for a stalker.

I would totally be on board with this guess had BG not mentioned that he was part of a cable TV show. The CW, and thus Gossip Girl, is considered network, so I think that eliminates Matthew Settle.

Jon Hamm is not married. He has been with his girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt for 10+ years, but they never tied the knot. Also, there really are very few actors under 18 featured on Mad Men.

It is Peter Facinelli from Damages. He is married to Jenni Garth. Not sure who the girl is but there are other blinds about him cheating.
I like Facinelli for this. Let’s not forget he was/is in the Twilight movies with all those super young actresses too. Kristen or one of the others? Also, Dakota Fanning is cast in the new one but I don’t know if it has started filming yet. So that’s intriguing as well.
…plus, we already know that Facinelli is partial to blonds, so this should be a relatively easy process of elimination – high profile, underage blond. It would have to be someone with a lot of moxie, though. Fanning doesn’t impress me as that someone, but Momsen does.

I’m now 97% sure the girl is Taylor Momsen, but I feel like BG would have said she was one of the stars of a cable series, not the married guy. But, if it is Taylor, then the guy doesn’t necessarily need to be on Gossip Girl, since she seems to get out a lot and would know lots of celebrities.

Your suggestion on Jojo just reminded me of a bi on perez hilton (i was bored obviously) about something she wrote on her myspace about wanting to say something but her managers wouldn’t let her and she was very frustrated. perez said that it was probably about her record deal not coming through, but perez kisses celebrity ass so much that he could just be saying that to get on her good side. however, jojo’s not really high profile.
