Yes. Uma started her career as a slashie – actress/model, however she has never been enough of a model to *now* be referred to as an actress-model much less the above mentioned model-actress (with model listed 1st.) Cameron Diaz, however . . . she could be easily labeled a model/actress as her modeling career was much more extensive before she begun acting.

She popped into my head first because she dated a bi coastal US businessman (Laurence Hallier). The blind says ‘THAT internationally famous model-actress’ instead of A internationally famous model-actress. ‘She’s now engaged to someone else’ which reads like someone unimportant. She’s currently dating a scuba diver I think and gets engaged or married to everyone she dates. She’s nuts -that fits. And I think her drug use has been ‘largely-unreported’ except on gossip sites or in Tommy’s book. But compared to Michael Jackson EVERYONE’s drug use is now largely-unreported.
