Ya she was my first thought too. Poor Ross McCall. I liked him in Band of Brothers. But there are few clues in this BI except for “runaway bride”, and possibly the use of the word s*xy.
I’m going to say Leighton Meester because I have no idea who she is. The runaway bride reference reminded me of Julia Roberts ditching Keifer Sutherland for his friend, I think his name’s Jason Patric, but what the heck do I know.
I think given what we know of Keifer’s drinking problems that she probably did the right thing…also I heard he was into the blow and cheating, which is why she went to Europe with Jason Patric (you are correct) and if you ask me Keifer deserved it at the time.

Ohh good guess! But the night before that is what is tripping me up…wouldn’t it be something we notice, is she a big TV star or a little TV star, was the engagement public or a secret. Because just before the wedding, like the night before, if people knew they were getting married than wouldn’t we notice the wedding never happened…I am think this through to much aren’t I…I need to go make dinner for my husband…this is so sad!

Hey now, just because she is making him dinner doesn’t mean it’s because he CAN’T. I’ve never known a man who can’t find something to eat on his own, but cooking is something that some of us enjoy doing, as a gift to our beloved spouses. Maybe it was a hush-hush wedding, and because it got cancelled, the public never found out about it. NS & MB never really talked about splitting up, and this is a story that neither of them would probably want publicized. Just a thought…
Nice one…Lola and thank you Justme, I am currently out of work and my husband works more than 12 hours a day, the best part of my day is preparing the meal that we will eat when he gets home and we get to start our night together, to hear someone make such a horrible judgement on a comment that was meant to be funny about a man I love so deeply and would do anything for…just hurt me beyond belief and I think MikeinSanJose you owe me and my wonderful husband that most women would kill to be married to, he is that amazing and loving…oh and he is a killer cook who on the weekends cooks me the most amazing resturant quality meals that he makes up menus and executes better than most 5 star chefs, so s* on that!

Jennifer Love Hewitt. She seems to be in love with the idea of being in love but has major commitment issues. She’s been engaged how many times now and she’s like 30. I could see a fling being the catalyst she’d need to call off the wedding the night before.
Eva La Rue is a good guess but I don’t know if a sexy fling with the best man would get her to call off her wedding. She was cheating on her first husband with the guy who eventually become her second husband. Then there was cheating involved in that 2nd marriage break-up too–either by him or her or both of them. It was kinda nasty for awhile. She’s not exactly known for infidelity stopping her.
