I don’t think she’s the subject of this BI but I do agree that she has COMPLETELY f* up her face! She’s just downright bizarre looking now! I never thought she was all that pretty, and she was ENTIRELY too thin, but all that surgery has made her face look almost bloated. What was she THINKING?
I thought I read somewhere that she has an auto-immune disorder that requires a lot of steroids. That doesn’t explain the ridiculously large lips but it does explain the puffy face. She is a mess.

I agree with you here. Demi is the only one who actually looks good. Whoever her doctor is they are excellent and conservative. She looks great because she is the one woman who hasn’t messed up her cheeks with implants!
I don’t think it’s meg ryan. She was in that movie the women and didn’t look too horrible. It has to be someone who looks truly terrifying. What about that actress van ark something? Those pictures surfaced and she looked insane.

I remember Joan Van Ark for Knot’s Landing which all my friends were watching in the ’80s. Yeah, she looks horrible these days but I don’t think of her as a 90′s name…more of an 80′s name.

Unfortunately, the world is not as kind about the ravages of age and botched plastic surgery with regard to women.
Nicole Kidman is another one who is a far cry from her former beauty twenty years ago (think Dead Calm), but she didn’t peak in the 1990s and she is still doing plenty of work. If she doesn’t stop with the surgery and other enhancements, she’ll be playing the monster in another ten years. Such a shame.
I was thinking Kidman, too, and there was a similar blind about her, recently I thought. I think Nicole DID peak in the 90s … I don’t think she’s scary-looking, yet, just frozen.
I am with you all the way except for the time of her peak. She won an Oscar for The Hours in the early 2000s and you can’t really say someone peaked before they won Oscar, can you? Then she also did The Others and Moulin Rouge in the 2000s, which were both great movies. (On the other hand, some folks may say her peak was To Die For, which I think puts her straight in the 90s, and she was all over the magazines and tabloids as Crazy Cruise’s wife, so maybe you have it there, and maybe it really is her.)

Decent guess. But I’m not so sure it’s plastic surgery that made her look so haggard. I think it’s just her natural aging proceess combined with the drag queen makeup mask. That and trying to dress as if she were still 19.

She was on “The Practice” but that was forever ago.
I don’t know who this is but I am so disguested with all these women (and some men) who completely change their faces to look younger or (according to themselves) more beautiful. It is sad that we are living in a time where we don’t know what people really look like or how they would have aged if they didn’t mess up their face.

I’m surprised no one got this one yet, but it has to be Heather Locklear. She definitely peaked in the 90′s during Melrose Place, and although she’s still attractive, she’s obviously had cheek implants, and lip injections giving her a very generic plastic face. She’s also been trying for several seasons now to get back on a TV series, but to no avail.

I’m torn between Meg Ryan and Melanie Griffith. Meg Ryan was the one that was labeled America’s Sweetheart in the 90′s, right? She was known for her natural beauty as well. Sleepless in Seattle, City of Angels, You’ve Got Mail were all in the 90′s, most of her big money-making films were in the 90′s I think. But now she seems to be willing to play her age like she did in The Women and seems to have laid off the plastic surgery for now. But she doesn’t seem to have any new work lined up. Meg doesn’t have the face to be alien-like but she doesn’t have the work that fits the BI.
Then there’s Melanie Griffith. There are pics of her on Getty from June 11 2009 and she’s kinda looking a little like Baby Jane. Kinda scary. Her skin is pasty white but it’s also shiny. Her skin is tight in some places yet also kinda loose and wrinkly in other places–like she forgot to have a neck lift when she had her face lift. But she’s got worked lined up into 2010 and did an ep of Nip/Tuck. She’s got the face to fit the BI but doesn’t suffer from lack of work right now.
I’ll go with Lara Flynn Boyle just because I can’t decide between the other two and her face is majorly messed up right now.

No one thinks Sharon Stone? She was known for sex roles like Basic Instinct and Sliver, so “peaked” could refer to the big “O” if you know what I mean. It says that everyone knew her name in the 90s, so that eliminates Lara Flynn Boyle ’cause she has never been a household name. Stone also did a voice for the movie “Antz”, which the picture sort of looks similar to if you think the picture is a clue.

I think everyone is right on with the Meg Ryan call. She was in The Land of Women, and in addition to feeling really uncomfotable looking at her, she played the role of a mom who got lots of positive attention from a young Adam Brody. Seriously, it feels wrong to look at her.

Sadly, I think so. Even with all Rourke’s f* ups, he ends up having a career while a lot of actresses can’t say the same for theirs even without the f* ups.
Sadly, too many actresses themselves put all the emphasis of their careers on their looks. Most of them, unlike men. Any male or female actor who relies on real ACTING rather than looks is likely to have a career well until they’re dead. I won’t bother mentioning names, anyone who goes to the movies can come up with a ton of examples themselves.
I recent;y saw Shelley Long in Honeymoon with mom and I thought that she had aged but not very well and had put on a lot of weight but still a great actress. However there was one shot of her in a bedroom wearing a silver pair of pyjamas and she looked like the old Shelley of Cheers and I realised the wardrobe department and the make up department did such a rubbishy job with her. She is in a film with Burt Reynolds and a sitcom with Martin Short called the Long and the Short and I hope that both do her career good. I would love so see the episode in Cheers when she finally marries Sam Malone even if it is a bit late in life.
