Joan doesn't hide the fact that she's gay, but doesn't go out of her way to profess it. I'd say she's openly gay, just not in your face about it. At the same time, I don't think she'd kill a pathetic guy bawling about his dog for jizzing on her knee. Obviously not her, as she didn't do the reality thing, though. She has stated continually that she will never tell and dosen't feel the need. If you listen to the music you can figure it out for yourself. Most of her songs are about bisexuality, fyi. Rock n Roll, to her, is about fantasy and coming out would exclude one group or another, therefor, she has stated she will not tell.
